Where it all began
Essentially Tamara was founded in May 2019 by Tamara Bonfante. What began as a small enterprise in Tamara’s garage in Auckland, New Zealand quickly grew into the leading Shower Bomb business creating the luxurious products we have today.
Tamara’s creativity and vision has ensured the Shower Bombs and Shower Burst recipes have been lovingly perfected. Every product that leaves the factory has been handcrafted by our team with love and care.
At the end of 2023, Tamara decided it was time to hand over the reins of Essentially Tamara. Carla Stratton and Matt Lamb loved what Tamara had created and leapt at the chance to take over this exciting business.
Where we are now
In March 2024 we embarked on moving the factory from Auckland to our hometown of Dunedin. No small feat! But with the support of Tamara, our friends, and families we have the factory up and running in MacLaggan St, Dunedin.
Today, the Shower Bombs and Bursts continue to be made with the same loving care that Tamara has prided herself on, creating the beautiful products that are the heart of Essentially Tamara. We have exciting plans for our future growth and are striving to create more unique Shower Bomb products.
